About the Author

Karlene Stewart, author of Let My Soul Bare: A Young Girl's Emotional Journey
The Author Karlene Stewart is a published non-fiction and fiction writer of articles, essays, short-stories, novels and poetry. Let My Soul Bare is her first novel. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media & Communication, and Philosophy, a Master of Arts Degree in Communication for Social and Behavior Change, and a Certificate in Basic Print Journalism from the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC), University of the West Indies, Mona.

Karlene's writing includes spiritual upliftment, social commentary, personality profiles and other biographical content.  She has been writing since 1998, with her earlier works being articles, poems and short stories. She functioned as a freelance youth writer for The Gleaner in Jamaica from 1998 to 2001. She also worked on a number of writing assignments including speeches, press releases, one radio play, and articles for government agencies while working in the field of public relations.

Besides writing, she is an experienced Administrator and Client Serving Professional, who has worked in the finance and energy industries.
